Aside from the people seen in photo, disabled persons and strollers have their own places in the trains.

Below is the screen that shows which would be the next or current stop. Panaderos, HK trains are still way cooler! no?

  1. The youngsters here won't give up seats for the elderly, disabled and pregnant ladies. Usually they turn a blind eye upon these needs albeit they are sitting at the specialised place for these people. Sad, noh?

As for myself, I prefer standing most of the time.

  2. Hi G! thanks for the visit and dropping a comment! :)

I love taking pictures too but I'm sort of shy taking pictures on the train, I don't know what will happen when somebody saw me aiming my cam or camera phone to them :)

  6. I remember a commercial from a long time ago Dong. 'Kung ano ang ginagawa ng mas matanda ay nagiging tama sa mata ng bata.' There was a free seat in a bus and an older guy took that seat immediately even though he saw an older woman standing there...a child was looking as it happened...remember that?

  9. The second photo with the electronic signage that shows the next or current stop is very similar to the train I take home here in the NY metropolitan area. But yes, the HK trains are way cooler than both the Vienna and NY trains. It's probably because they're newer. Maybe. :)
