"Childhood" (Michael Jackson)

Have you seen my Childhood?
I'm searching for the world that I come from
'Cause I've been looking around
In the lost and found of my heart...
No one understands me
They view it as such strange eccentricities...
'Cause I keep kidding around
Like a child, but pardon me...

People say I'm not okay
'Cause I love such elementary things...
It's been my fate to compensate,
for the Childhood
I've never known...

Have you seen my Childhood?
I'm searching for that wonder in my youth
Like pirates in adventurous dreams,
Of conquest and kings on the throne...

23 November 2010

I might have the date wrong...November is supposedly winter but the photo shows otherwise...This season was anyway crazier than usual. Cold, warm. cold , warm....how much damage has the earth gotten so far? :(

My favorite color is blue. :) That's why I really feel happy seeing sky like this on winter morning with usually gray skies like the photo below.

Late skywatch post (but first for this year) and early photohunt post----it's a free post today! :)

You are born an artist or you are not. And you stay an artist, dear, even if your voice is less of a fireworks. The artist is always there. - Maria Callas

So let's all get that artist out, shine like fireworks at night!

"I always loved running...it was something you could do by yourself, and under your own power. You could go in any direction, fast or slow as you wanted, fighting the wind if you felt like it, seeking out new sights just on the strength of your feet and the courage of your lungs."
-Jesse Owens

It was already cold that day but they didn't mind, running after all makes one warm...

The lake (Danube) is frozen nowadays. Too bad that I forgot to bring out my camera while passing by earlier and only shot one using my phone...but you see the white there and a road in between then white again...both frozen water....I saw a lone man skating and I would try to go with the kids soon but the cold is giving me second thoughts. :)

Since summer is long gone here is a remembrance of what transpired back then:

A great way to spend the evening without spending much...watch an Opera for free at the Vienna State Opera lawn (Wiener Staatsoper).

They've installed a monitor for free viewing.

About Me

(^By Notting Hill Gate)

I enjoy both travel and photography. Although I haven’t been all-over the world, I try to document my journey and share it around. Here, my current hometown Vienna, a city I come to love not just for its intrinsic beauty but its overall aura of good vibes, I share bits and pieces of what to see and enjoy. -Marie Gizelle
