Mostly Mozart
12 August 2007
One of the best (but not the cheapest) shops in Vienna to buy souvenirs, chocolates and what-nots is the Mostly Mozart. The chocolates costs a little higher than those in the groceries, so thrifty as I am; I seldom buy.I had hoped to get myself some Mozart kugeln but I have Mozarttaler only during this post.

ReplyDeleteI wonder how Mozart felt about chocolate? Was he as passionate about it as he was about music? Hmm. I wonder.
ReplyDeleteI am so loving this blog.
Thanks Ann! Maybe Mozart was good with his music because of chocolates...kidding! Good day!
ReplyDeleteMirage, what is Mozart kugeln and Mozarttaler? Do they mean chocolates?
ReplyDeleteI am quite sure I had been to this shop when I was in Vienna. Actually I was in most of the shops that sold souvenirs. :)The shops are nice and have lotsa cute stuff in them. Irresistible to a tourist.
Both are chocolates, differed by the shape and flavor, murphy jay...Kugeln are ball-shaped with filling inside...nuts and melted chocolate. Talers are like discs as you in the photos, which ones would you like me to send you since I told you I would send you some stuff from here because of the Stranger's portrait post! =) Hope you send me you mailing address! Good day!
ReplyDeleteLove Mozart! :-) Would love to visit shops that sell Mozart stuff.
