Meet the Kids

Meet my favorite photography subjects, Alexie, Daniel and Charlton. I make the most out of what I have at home...smiles and a camera equals a fun shot! The better part of it is that the photos get published at times. Below is a copy of the print which was in the November-December issue of MomsToday, a Parenting magazine in the Philippines.

Wonderful photo of "home" stuff! And yes, it is nice to be paid for doing what you love ... especially when you can do it with who you love as well!
ReplyDeleteYou said it exactly Chuck...Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNice picture, interesting article and creative layout. Do you do it all? Good work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Fredrik, I do the photo, but the magazine article is not. I was asked if the photo could be used for the article and I said yes...I only get a credit for it. =)
ReplyDeleteYou got paid I hope...Because that picture is professional!
ReplyDeleteI got some free stuff instead of pay Fredrik, and since its in the Philippines I let my sister have them =D
ReplyDeleteHow kind of you.
ReplyDeleteAbout the picture. It's just a perfect exposure. Did you use any extra light or flashes? It's so clear. Then I wonder about the noise in the background. Is it due to high ISO or the lens?
Hi again Fredrik. It was taken in the afternoon with not much sunlight, I did not use a flash, only the light directly on top of the table was turned on and the camera was set on manual mode. I have not noticed the noise until you said and I think the noise is because I removed the black electic wire and still shows...Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteI was just going to say that this photo could be in a health food or parenting magazine, and it is!
ReplyDeleteFantastic shot and beautiful, happy, smiling, healthy faces!
ReplyDeleteLooks great in the magazine, too!
Congratulations on being published. It is a wonderful feeling. This photo is especially appealing.

ReplyDeleteYour kids are simply beautiful!
Thanks murphy_jay, I am also replying that was why there were many comments, if not there'd be around 15 =D Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteWhat absolutely adorable children! I'll bet they have just as much fun being in the pictures as you have photographing them. And they're free! (Although, wait until they're teenagers. Then they'll start demanding you pay them. When that happens, it's all over!) ;-)
ReplyDeleteLol Janet, hopefully they don't ask for talent fee! =D Thanks so much for the kind comment!
