(Tulips are the ones readily available with pollen or stamen.)
great macro. love also that monument for a history buff like me
nice. looks like there's no need to offer flowers to these heroes everyday with such nice flowers.
Hi tutubi, sorry that I only provided that info =) The slab contains very few names of den Helden (the heroes), considering that the war was started by a man born here =) I'd look back there and try to find the story behind it.
=D @Dong...there are lots of these 'landscapes' full of flowers, I think the ones responsible are 'Unsere Garten' (our Garden) who maintains thes small lots...I'd post more in the coming days.
Lovely macro spy shots today! I really like the multi-color tulips. Very pretty.
Beautiful! I went through dozens of tulip photos I took in Holland and nope, that particular color combo isn't there. Have you seen it before?
Thanks Chuck! Hope you join us next week!
I see them around Fenix, white and pink, or orange and yellow, but this was the first time with this yellow-white-pink combo...Are you originally from Holland?
Gorgeous macro shot!
Thanks Senor! =)
Those are amazing macro shots. I will have to have a go.You have really captured them so clearly and the colours are so vibranst. Thanks for visiting.
Thanks babooshka! Its fun closing in those beauties, my daughter enjoys looking and being with me while I take shots! Have a nice week!
Gorgeous!!!!Didn't know there are multi-colored tulips. Thanks for the wonderful shot. :)
Beautiful! And fabulous macro. There's another reason I should upgrade my camera!Where is this monument to Austria's WWII heroes?
Whoops, sorry! I meant WWI!
Beautiful colors. Very nice detail. And of course, I love the shot against the blue sky. :)
Gizelle, the comment you left on my blog piqued my curiosity. You said you saw a photo of me with tulips in the foreground? Where? (As far as I know, there are no photos of me on the Internet).
Fenix, I meant a photo that you took and not one that you were in it =) Sorry bout the confusion....
Janet, If your camera has a macro it will do! ( I am using a P&S camera), its fun! This is at the 21st district where buses 30a and 32a passes by, when you go to Stammersdorf with 30a and to Leopoldau with 32a, you won't miss it...
Thanks Panaderos, I might do more of these shots hehe...
Your welcome murphy_jay! I saw some red ones today with a tinge of orange as opposed to that one with 0range as the dominant color, I hope I could get near and take some good ones.
The third photo is magnificent I like the angle you' ve chosen for this shot
Ohhh, these are so lovely! I love tulips and I think your close up is very, very nice! Thanks for stopping by Seguin!
