Citybikes
27 April 08
Dong, in case you want to bike around, you can rent one of the Citybikes. =) I remember posting them last month all in yellow (and some blue). This time its red and blue. The city provides tourists with cheap rent for this. The first hour is free and then one euro for the succeeding hours. And since the city is bike-friendly, you won't even need a GPS, you will never go wrong!
And below are locals on their bikes waiting for the lights to turn green.28 April 08

That looks like fun, and definitely the way to see a beautiful city!
ReplyDeleteLouis sagt "hallo" von San Francisco!
ReplyDeletePortland Oregon has free bikes available in the downtown area. Cool idea. So, should I assume Vienna is relatively level ground, or are the hills?
ReplyDeleteLouis thanks you for visiting his "San Francisco Bay Daily Photo"! Yes, Louis has begun participating in the "Sky Watch Fridays". His first "Sky Watch" post is here:

ReplyDeleteI've always loved biking but I regret not having done it for a while. I'll have to get me a new bicycle one of these days. Your two pictures made me long for them again. Nice pics, G! :)

ReplyDelete1 Euro per hour is quite inexpensive and the bikes seem to be in great shape. Neat.
ReplyDeleteI like bike-friendly city! Used to ride my bike around Shanghai when I was living there. But now back home, it's not safe to ride a bike around! How sad!!
