Theme Day - My Corner Local Shop + I Spy Sunday - Wasp

by - 31.5.08

flowershop in the morning

21 May 08
I decided to post a flowershop instead of a food store since they are big and fit into groceries category rather than 'store.'
----
Even on a rainy morning, the flowershop at the corner blossoms with beauty. I especially like the older woman in this photo with 2 cups of coffee (or hot chocolate or tea). This corner shop is always a lovely sight to behold.

Below, the shop on a sunny day.

And since its a Sunday, I also have an entry for I Spy Sunday.

A wasp on the floor, perhaps getting tired of hopping from flower to flower.

Today is City Daily Photo's Theme Day, check out other corner shops around the World! Keep in mind though that due to time differences, others may not be up yet.

  24. I have to agree, the woman with the two mugs makes the photo, its such a lovely neighbourly moment that you have captured. I also am not a fan of the wasp - at least not up close and personal - great photo though :)

  27. I adore flower's shop and also those vendors that sell flowers in street corner (litterally). Since ever flowers are gentle and people who treat them too.

P.S. IF you didn't notice my reply on my blog, please, you're absolutely free to take that photo taken in Torino's underground that may concern your "Photography on the Move"'s blog. I should be happy to see it there (I love that blog)...
