It was sunny today, earlier the sky was a plain and beautiful blue, though the sun was shining the wind was cold and strong. Later in the afternoon, the clouds formed into clusters like twisters....it's scary to think about twisters in this city!

VERy cool photos. Too bad real twisters are not as pretty as this one. Ha Ha. Happy SWF.
ReplyDeleteWow - that cloud really does defy nature, seemingly. It's like the artist turned the picture on its side before painting the cloud in there. Very nice capture. Love how pink it is - like a strawberry milkshake. (www.reluctantfarmchik.com)
ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual shape; lovely colors too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cloud structure in those shots! I love it when shear contorts clouds in all different shapes. I posted a similar, less colorful shot on Monday that my daughter said the same about.
ReplyDeletethis looks so much like cotton candy being twisted in the machine. very unique cloud formation and the soft hue is so fabulous.
ReplyDeleteHow unusual and prety!
ReplyDeleteVery dramatic sky! Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteEW! I hope they aren't twisters! That would be terrible, even if they are a pretty colour.

ReplyDeleteMagnificent capture. I've never seen anything like it. We don't get tornados in Juneau.

That's a beautiful sky view. The colors are soft and lovely. Thanks.
ReplyDelete"Louis" grew up in 'Tornado Alley,' he understands your concern that these clouds might be tornado material - but "Louis" assures you these were very unlikely to become twisters. You can find videos of clouds becoming twisters on You Tube. Find some of those and you'll be reassured by the difference.
ReplyDeleteBe that as it may, these clouds made a fine SWF image for you!
