Today's Flowers - Snow colored leaves
08 Oct 08 (Sony Ericsson k7701)
(it was hard to focus using a phone camera...=( sorry)
It does seem I have less flowers to photograph and post now. This is one of the last yellow flowers of this plant with white leaves that looks immaculate.
A little over a year ago I was able to photograph the same kind of plant with a bonus bee.
Have a fun week!

The top one is great shot! Good contrast!
ReplyDeleteThe contrast of yellow and grey is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I like the unusual grey of the first photo.
ReplyDeleteThe lacy silver leaves are beautiful even without flowers. The golden flowers do bring a little sunshine on a grey day. Nice bee shot, obviously with a real camera.
ReplyDeleteThese photos were taken with camera phone? Wow your photos are terrific!!
ReplyDeleteNice lonely yellow flower in the first pic anyway. (The beeshot is awesome!)
ReplyDeleteChe bella!

These look like the plant we call Dusty Miller here. They don't often bloom but I have had it happen on occasion. That last photo with the bee is excellent!
ReplyDeleteBoth are pretty... love the grey in back of the yellow on the top one.
ReplyDeleteThat is an unusual looking flower to me but very pretty. I think the bee must like them!
ReplyDeleteYour flower photo is nice to see and the bee is special. I really like that one.
ReplyDeleteEven so, very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
I grow the same plant for the colour of the leaves. It rarely flowers for me! You must be doing something right. ;-)

Beautiful flowers, and beautiful effects
ReplyDeleteReally nice shots especially the last one of the bee. I used to have Dusty Miller in my yard until I redid everything. Very nice.

I hope this isn't a duplicate entry. I had trouble posting so I'll try it again. These are really nice shots. I used to have Dusty Miller in my yard. Funny, I never forgot the name of it. :-)
