Janet, I remember you commented during theme day that Vienna should have dog signs that says 'no' for their gackerl... Vienna has those for a while but were eye level (as high as the traffic lights), those that are on the grasses were mainly in residential areas. But today, when I came out, I saw these small markers practically everywhere (where the grasses are). There you are, no more poops for the doggies in the streets and grasses!
Owners who let the dogs make poops will pay 36 euros! The solution is to always carry a plastic bag with them. (Ein sackerl für gackerl= A sack for the poop). The horses in the city do not have that much problem. Notice they already have a big sack behind them, this catches everything that comes out from their behind, though it isn't really good to smell those.

I like these signs. People have got better here in Tasmania picking up the poo, but you still see lots of it about. A €36 fine should make people think though.
ReplyDeleteI remember my friend Novala telling me about this "poop trouble"... oh, well, they should start it in Romania too... it's not nice to get this on your shoes... :)
ReplyDeletenice one here! i like that small dog. i hope they also implement the same thing in the philippines.
ReplyDeletepooping sure has become expensive!
ReplyDeleteHaha cute doggy! So adorable. The price one pays for having a pet, huh? either you get to pay for the fine or you go around following your dog with a poop scooper. Makes one think.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a cute sign! Even though the message isn't. Maybe someone should invent a poop bag to attach to dogs. ;)
ReplyDeleteWow! How original! They know how to do things there.
ReplyDeleteVery original, you know how to do things there :)
ReplyDeleteI think if here they all be stolen. LOL
Oh my gosh, now that is the cutest doggie!!! Do you happen to know what kind of breed it is?
ReplyDeleteThank God! No more sliding on poop! :-)
ReplyDeleteTo answer Chica's question, I think that's a Jack Russell Terrier. They're a ton of fun, but very high maintenance.
P.S. Hilda says perhaps someone should invent a way to attach a bag to a dog. They have. Check it out here and here.
ReplyDeleteThanks d.c.! That's what I thought, but also thought it was mixed with something. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info Janet!
ReplyDeleteChica, i thought it could be a dachshund but im no expert with dogs =D
Too bad, I went out today and that very sign I photographed was broken...I'll post it tomorrow... =(
I have 3 dogs and consider myself a very responsible dog owner.....I find that inconsiderate people won't read the signs anyway....
