Thank God it's Sky Watch Friday!

I've seen similar statues in different areas of Vienna but never got the time to look who the artist is. Anyway this shot was taken near the Albertina museum that I featured a while back...

My SWF piture was taken between Rabenstein and Scheibbs on the Long Distance Hiking Trail No.4 (Österr. Weitwanderweg Nr. 4 HÄHÄ) which we walk in small sections of one,two or more days.
The flute player at Kärntner Straße has been piping here already for several years, and now his dog is gone.
How long are you doing these Vienna pictures already?

  4. It's Alfred Hrdlicka's famous MEMORIAL AGAINST WAR AND FASCISM at Albertinaplatz in Vienna(Mahnmal gegen Krieg und Faschismus auf dem Wiener Albertina-Platz 1986).
If you look closely you will see how fascinating it is. I admire Hrdlicka very much.
I also love his statute of the kneeling jew warning of really bad things that happened not very long ago.
