Frozen Pond
9 Jan 09
Weeks ago I posted a photo of this same pond in green..now its frozen, not much but it was white most of the times I pass by. The other side of this pond is where iceskaters are allowed.
I might not be able to post much the coming days because of school...yes, I'm attending school somehow. :)

I bet this is a great place to skate!
ReplyDeleteTwo great photos of the Danube; if I remember correctly.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. I really like the mountains in the background.
ReplyDeleteYou must be quite used to ponds freezing like this. I can't even imagine the lake up near me even getting close to freezing over but I'd be thrilled to see it just once.
ReplyDelete:-)
How pretty.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely photo
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, seeing those pics makes me wanna grab my skates and go play some outdoor hockey.
ReplyDeleteCheers!

very pretty, would love to do some skating....
ReplyDeleteI think that pond would have to be frozen all the way across and several inches thick before I would even think about sliding across it. Great shots. =)
ReplyDeleteI would love to skate on this
ReplyDeleteGrabe siguro ang lamig sa inyo ngayon.. Dito ang lamig eh!
ReplyDeleteMy Watery Wednesday image is posted here. Have a great day.
I'm sorry I missed your first picture. I would have liked to see the comparison. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt must be fun to skate there when it´s so little snow. Have fun in school!
ReplyDeleteOh, skating on an outdoor rink is the best! I used to do it so often as a kid. Great photos :)
ReplyDeletesoon we'll see it as a pond again. hope that you get to take a photo of it after the ice melts.
ReplyDeleteNice picx. Skating on a natural pond is so much more fun than on a flooded piece of parkland.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's impressive. I love to skate and played hockey as a kid but have never skated on a frozen pond or lake. That would be very cool.
ReplyDeletewow! never seen frozen pond before, thanks for sharing these pictures.

Awesome photos, beautiful world.
ReplyDeleteI like the ice pond picture. I wish our little lake would freeze so I could get a picture of it.
ReplyDeleteYou must indeed post follow up shots of this pond later on. I did also not see the first post. Certainly looks very lovely like this. Ice is a nice form of water as it can take so many shapes. Great job.
