My World 8 - City Center

kids on ausflug

3 Dec 08

Being at the Northern Hemisphere, Vienna entered the cold season already...technically winter starts on Dec 22 but you'd surely feel the coldness as early as November.

Today I am showing you partly what you can see at the city center, the big patio at Stephansplatz where both locals and tourists mingle to shop (notice the Zara shop on background), take photos (a church is near and other landmarks) and eat (Chatanooga is one to try).

A group of kids went out to enjoy the cold breeze on that morning, while my friend and I enjoyed the mime artist/painted guy who kept the crowd laughing with his whistling. By the way, my friend (in pink) is much older than me (which wouldn't really show) but I enjoy laughing with her, she keeps the little world around me colorful.

  7. It's always a question of when winter starts, by the time the soltice rolls around (on the 21st) it's already begun, but drawing a line in the sand probably depends on where you live, and what type of weather you happen to be getting that year.
