Wilhelm Jungmann and Neffe is one of the sturdiest business around Vienna established in 1838. They hold more than a thousand type of cloth and as you can see in the photo, colorful umbrellas. They also stock buttons, scarves, ties, handkerchiefs and other of those tiniest bits one need in sewing.
Located at Albertina Platz 3, the shop is for tourists and photographers a real attraction. The artistic window reflects the statue of Franz Josef I which is installed at the mezzanine of the Albertina, a popular art museum in the city. The shop interior is also artistically designed by famous artisans...hopefully I get by again and have the chance to take photos inside.

ReplyDeleteA very stylish reflection! Beautiful colour range in those umbrellas!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a funny picture : this line of umbrella is so unsual... Very nice subject of reflection !
ReplyDeleteColorful umbrellas. Some are shorter, are those for kids? I am loyal to my umbrella. I bought it for Php600, some say it's too expensive but in my opinion so worth it. It's never failed to shelter me from heavy rains and strong winds. I still have it with me, bought it in 2004 and still working well. Wow, 7 years of umbrella life!
ReplyDeleteI just have one complain on umbrellas here in europe... too expensive! imagine a 3-fold umbrella worth almost 10euros!
ReplyDeleteThe umbrellas are well-arranged. Great photo!
