Squirrels at the Schönbrunn grounds are very friendly. Well, if you got nuts in your hand they'd be willing to sniff and take it gently. They'd shake it as if listening to know if it's a bad nut...
It was the perfect day out for a walk...well for us, to bike! I, along with hubby and the kids headed to the Waßerpark in the afternoon, taking the roads less travelled, well taking the bike lanes without planning on where to go. We ended up at the Waterpark where not only kids and families were playing or having a picnic, ducks were enjoying the sunshine too!

How many insects do you see there? I had to dig into my archive photos again lol.
The bee seemed to like showing off its butt the whole time I was clicking my camera :D

Is it just me or are these horses really posing? Got to take their photos yesterday, those two are so immaculately clean....despite the smell!
These lovely creatures can be found beside the Stephansplatz Church. I am not entirely sure but a Fiaker costs about 80 euros an hour (same rate as a gondola in Venice!) nowadays. It is definitely a beautiful experience seeing the city aboard this classic carriage. They can also be rented for weddings and other ocassions.

As much as I would want to take photos of the lovely flying critters, I can't. I, and most of us needs to wait for 2 months or more for that. Meanwhile, please enjoy this butterfly from last summer.
I seldom see butterflies in my area, but there is a Butterfly house that I promised the kids we'll visit when it opens in summer. We weren't able to go last time...then there is also the aquarium and the zoo, by then there'd be lots of critters to show. Have a nice weekend everyone!
