Theme Day - 'Water'

The Danube at Sunset.

It was said that water is an easy theme, to feature something unique for theme day is a task that we should somehow keep in mind. I am reposting a photo which is almost 4 years old. This photo has been featured at the Österreich Zeitung (Austria newspaper) once so there might be a bias as to why I actually chose it-lol.

Still the Danube on a sunny morning in Spring! How right could Strauss be with his waltz 'Blue Danube?'

Today is City Daily Photo's Theme Day, there are approximately 178 blogs, you can go bloghopping to each participating city, but due to time difference some may not be up yet...Enjoy 'water' all over the world!

  12. One can easily mistake your first photo for an oil painting. Very nice.

As for the second one, the Danube seemed so serene. Hard to imagine that it's actually one of Europe's major rivers.

Great pics as usual, Gizelle. :)
