There has been a lot of renovations in older train stations all-over the city. This one is the Gumpendorferstrasse station and there are still some finishing touches needed. It has been repainted both inside and up (not out), up where the traintracks are.

What I find disturbing when I was at this station where those black marks which seemed to be a grafitti in its own sense, with shoes as medium! Well, you know who could be the culprit. I doubt if the older people would have enough energy to lift their leg up on the wall...Don't you?

  3. All the effort goes down the drain. Guess youths these days don't know how to appreciate what has been done.

  4. What a stupid thing to do. Oh, teenagers, why do they have to be so destructive? No surveillance cameras in that area of the station? Have a nice weekend, Gizelle.

  7. Gizelle, sorry, forgot to answer your question. The top of the Space Needle is at 605 feet. Where I took the photo from is probably about 500 or so feet. Interestingly, the big black building behind the Space Needle, the Columbia Center Building, is 937 feet tall. However, because of the perspective from my location the Space Needle "appears" to be taller. ~Chuck
